ELF Local Partners

  • PBAZ: Paaralang Bayan ng  Ayta sa Zambales, Zambales province
  • LAKAS: Lubos na Alyansa ng Katutubong Ayta sa Sambales We support Aeta leader-graduates in PBAZ who act as facilitators of basic literacy and also as “instructional managers” of the high school equivalency Alternative Learning System. The leader-graduates in LAKAS are taking the lead in developing organic farms and working with the four Aeta barangays who want to rebuild their former settlements in the mountains.
  • Dangle, Pampanga province. The leader-graduates in Pampanga have organized themselves to offer ALS for out of school youth, and also basic literacy to the Aetas of Pampanga.
  • Paaralang Bayan Alumni Association, Oriental Mindoro province. The leader-graduates in Oriental Mindoro also offer ALS to out of school youth. They also promote organic agriculture and have helped organize the Mindoro Organic Farmers Association or MOFA.
  • Quidan Kaisahan, Negros Occidental province
  • Balay Pag-inupdanay
  • Pag-inupdanay Incorporated These three sister organizations work in Negros Occidental to promote Participatory Local Governance (PLG), to advocate for Education for All (EFA), especially Alternative Learning System for child laborers in sugar plantations, and support alternative livelihoods through microfinance services.
  • Balay Mindanaw Foundation Inc., Misamis Oriental province
  • Katilingbanong Pamahandi sa Mindanaw Foundation Inc. Like the Negros NGOs, these sister organizations promote PLG in Misamis Oriental. They also help develop social enterprises, and promote peace-building.
